In the summer of 2009 four musicians founded the first carnation of what is now ICONS OF BRUTALITY. With Robert (Real Hate) on drums, Jimme on vocals, Jeunis on guitars and Knolle on bass hardcorefueled deathmetalsongs were written and 2 gigs were played,one at Metalfest Epe and one at Metalbattle prerounds in Hoogeveen.


After these gigs Robert left the band to focus on Real Hate, fortunately the ranks were closed swiftly as former Grindminded drummer Erwin `Bakvet` Koerts joined the chapel of madness. Also second guitarist Bert M. was added to the line up. And now, behind every canon a man, we set ablaze a seething fire, more songs are written, gigs are planned and we aim to record some of our music soon.
