In January 1999 the metal band Transnight was founded by Christopher Marler (guitar), Daniel (drums) and Sonja (keyboards) . All had the same goal, which was to carry melodic metal with progressive influences.
This goal will be maintained until today and completed the line-up with Mark (bass). The first official demo CD has been released in the mid-2004, and received good reviews from the press and the public.
Since March 2005, Transnight with Oliver for the first time a man on the mic and it was followed by the second demo CD in May 2005. The vocal arrangements of the pieces have previously been extensively revised. March 2008 then came to Dave, who also previously had been notorious as a front man in heavy metal. They are currently working on new songs in the harder look. The keyboards have been completely shut off and it turns darker realms as opposed to the poppier rock of the first full-length album "Between The Worlds" to.
Transform one completed since the year 2002, some performances in the Ruhr, which met with great resonance. Highlights were e.g. first place in the Newcomer Festival in Hertfordshire in November 2002 or as support gigs with Vicious Rumors, Mob Rules Engine or Motorjesus. Transnight Live presents a program that ranges from ballad with powerful parts to thrash rhythms.
