Consortium Project is the brainchild of vocalist/producer Ian Parry, a singer blessed with one of the most distinctive voices in metal and one that powers along "Species" - the epic conclusion of the Consortium Project series.
The first album was released under the name Ian Parry's Consortium Project, but the name was shortened to simply Consortium Project for subsequent albums.
Ian Parry is the only full-time member of the band. He gathers together guest members to help him make every album.
