Rogga Johansson and Bob Bagchus formed the band To the Gallows in 2013 with the idea to play old-school Doom/Black Metal in the old Bathory style. They called Eric Daniels and Henri Sattler to fill the line-up. As the writing process for a first full-lenght moved ahead, they decided to change the band's name to Soulburn in early 2014. Rogga Johansson eventually left the band as well as Henri Sattler. In 2020 the band realase their forth album "Noa's D'ark" via Century Media.
