The Morning After (TMA) combine the exuberance, showmanship and melody of classic 80's metal and pop with a gritty backbone of the metal and hard rock of today. This combined with epic, uplifting choruses and emotive string sections make for an exciting mix that is making waves in the british metal scene as well as abroad.
In 2009 the band signed their first overseas record deal with major label JVC Victor Entertainment in Japan. The Debut Record 'You Cant Hurt Steel' has shifted thousands of copies and has made TMA one of the most exciting bands in the Japanese Metal Scene. Back home TMA are a growing force from constant touring in support of 'You Cant Hurt Steel' The Debut which dropped in July 2009. These tours include a 3 week UK stint with 'Viking Skull' and a month long trek throughout the UK and Europe with Canadian metallers ' Blessed By A Broken Heart'. This tour culminated in a storming set at the Download Festival 2010.
The live show is a barrage of lasers, lights and backdrops owing much to the theatrics of bands like Iron Maiden.
