Ruthless. The name itself describes what the band us all about. Powerful, heavy and aggressive, with no mercy. Ruthless was formed in 1982 by lead guitarist Kenny McGee and lead vocalist Sammy D. Ruthless released a 5-song E.P. on Iron Works Records in America and on banzia/polygram in canada and Axe Killer Records in Europe. The e.p. was produced by Bill Metoyer. The E.P. did very well, especially in Europe. Ruthless released a full length album in 1985 on Axe Killer Records entitled Discipline of Steel. The initial pressing sold out! Ruthless disbanded in 1990. In 1997 fgl/axekiller records re-released discipline of steel+metal without mercy on cd, only 2000 copys were pressed and numbered for a limited edition collectors item, which sold out!! The band Ruthless has reunited in 2008 for a reunion tour, carson city, neveda. Las vegas, nevada. san marcos, california. And, For the Keep It True XII metal festival april 24th & 25th 2009 LAUDA,GERMANY with Armored Saint ,Lizzy Borden and more!. Ruthless will be re-releasing "Metal Without Mercy" E.P. with two new unreleased songs recorded in 1988, "Winds of War" and "White Death" on my Graveyard Productions (ITALY). This re-issue will be Re-Mastered and, available april of 2009. Ruthless will also be live at the"Play it Loud Festival" IV' in BOLOGNA,ITALY, september 26th 2009 with Grim Reaper and Angel Witch.
