The Ancient Bards experience begins in the summer of 2007, from the mind of Daniele Mazza, the keyboard player, who’s intent was to create a band that could tell the deeds of the characters of Last World in a power metal kind of way, with symphony and classical sounds. With these elements begins the recording of the demo cd called “Trailer” that contains songs extracted from the story. It’ll be soon available as a promo disc. “Trailer” is the introduction to the Black Crystal Sword Saga, a story that takes it’s origin from ancient northern legenda, from the celtic imaginary and from the mind of it’s creator, Daniele Mazza. There is an emphasis on the heavy sounds in comparison with the traditional power metal style, but there is also a huge attention to the classical intervals. By now the band is very tight-knit and is searching for some contests to prove it’s work and for a label too.
