Exomnia was born from the ashes of an older unfinished project in 2018.
Before the creation of the band two of the members, Nick and Giannis had already started to collaborate as a two-piece composing for a short release.
Not long after the writing process began, Michael Chatzipanagiotou joined the band. Followed by Panagiotis S. who filled in as lead guitarist. After a course of four months spent looking for a drummer, Dino George Stamoglou became a full-time member and the band started to rehearse and rearrange the material in order to prepare for the forthcoming recording sessions. Some time passed before Alex Christanis (Mephisto) took over the duties of performing vocals but until the end of May of 2018, a full line-up had been assembled.
After many delays the band began recording their 1st work between July and November 2018, while also working on a video clip for the upcoming EP. Several months later and with 2 members leaving the band, a video clip was released, followed by the release of the full EP "Aftermath" in April 2019.
For the near future, the band continues as a project with the 2 songwriters, keyboardist, and vocalist. A full-length album is in the plans for the future, one that will further explore the musical aspirations of the band and will feature several other musicians in various instruments.
