The band, which was founded in 2012, reached some impressive numbers with their in May 2015 released debut album »Neverland«. Their first single gained more than 250.000 clicks and the album made it to the second place in the German iTunes-Metal-Charts. Soon after, the young group signed the contract with the Label Arising Empire, which re-released the popular »Neverland« album.
»Neverland« lead the sextet on all stages in Germany while their fan base and popularity was constantly rising. Beside numerous festivals, the “Wieder Geil-Tour 2015” with WE BUTTER THE BREAD WITH BUTTER, exclusive club shows on the Geki Rock Shows in Shibuya, Tokio TO THE RATS AND WOLVES didn’t slow down in 2016. Beside the anew permanent presence on festivals the band played as the official tour support with BRING ME THE HORIZON on their three exclusive Germany shows as well as opener for ASKING ALEXANDRIA.
Sold out clubs, constantly increasing followers and clicks on the social media platforms prove the rats and wolves right.
After »Neverland« brought TO THE RATS AND WOLVES with its unique mélange of penetrative post hardcore and highly danceable electro elements to the top of the German trancecore scene, the six guys from Essen, Germany deliver with »Dethroned« a more than worthy sequel. The advanced overall concept sets aesthetic and musically new standards: the big singalongs, which made TO THE RATS AND WOLVES so successful in the past, are even more hypnotizing, the trance parts are more intensive and cunning and at least now the band deserves the breakdown Nobel Prize.
The motto is and will be: Young.Used.Wasted… and the band is living this besides and especially on the stage!
