Con il seguente post - condiviso attraverso la sua pagina Facebook - il suo compagno nei Running Wild, Jens Becker, ha comunicato il decesso di Majk Moti, avvenuto ieri, 16 febbraio, all'età di 65 anni.

Nato come Michael Kupper, una volta entrato a far parte della band capitanata da Rock 'n' Rolf, mutò il suo nome in Majk aggiungendo quello indiano della sua fidanzata: Moti. Sostituì Gerald "Preacher" Warnecke, incidendo con loro: Branded and Exiled (1985), Under Jolly Roger (1987), Port Royal (1988) e Death or Glory (1989). Apparendo anche sull'album dal vivo Ready for Boarding e sul video Death or Glory Tour - Live.
