I Brutality sono una band americana tra le migliori dell'ondata death metal di inizio anni '90. Formatasi nel 1986, il debutto "Screams of Anguish" esce nel 1993 per la Nuclear Blast e a seguire il successivo "When the Sky Turns Black" viene pubblicato l'anno seguente.
Dopo "In Mourning" del 1996 la band si scioglie a causa di contrasti interni.

Tornati nel 2012, pubblicano l'anno successivo l'EP "Ruins of Humans" che riceve plausi a livello mondiale. A Gennaio 2016 esce finalmente il loro quarto disco intitolato "Sea of Ignorance".
