Μystras is a new project from Ayloss of Spectral Lore. Τhe aim is to create raw medieval black metal which deals lyrically with less sung acts of valor and bravery from the middle ages, namely of those downtrodden under the shiny heels of knights and lords, who chose to rise up for freedom against innumerable odds and most often perished, sacrificing themselves for the well-being of the next generations. Although the lyrics will be based in real historical events, I will not aim towards absolute scientific accuracy, but my goal is to re-forge such stories from my own perspective and imagination, merging history with the sense of a forgotten, magical past that is most often met in the fantasy genre. Let us reclaim what has been unfairly taken away from us!
