Coming on like a freight train haulin' white lightning, BONEDRYVER has just unleashed their 10-song debut “Ain't Too Pretty, Ain't Too Proud,” for your listening pleasure. “Ain’t Too Pretty...” is an effort that blends the downhome, southern vibe of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Blackfoot with the riff-fueled madness of AC/DC, with a nod to the hair rock-era they grew up in splashed throughout the album. Born out of the ashes of various local Western North Carolina bands, BONEDRYVER was formed on January 2017 by guitarist Jimmy Penland, who along with drummer Jeff Price and bassist Kevin Freeman, began as a trio, later bringing in vocalist Mark Michaels to round out the project. Quickly forging a bond, and a strong batch of over 100 cover songs, BONEDRYVER tackled the southeast club scene while crafting some southern-fried, riff-infused originals, 10 of those which you now hold in your hand.
