Apotheus are a metal act based in Portugal.
The group was founded in 2008 and after recording some demos, they finally hit the studio for their EP “
A Quest to Remain” in 2011. After some live shows, the band perfected their sound with their first full-length “
When Hope And Despair Collide” in 2013.
Fast-forward to 2019, after a lot of national touring and other original works,
Apotheus made an international breakthrough signing with
Black Lion Records (Sweden) who released their album “
The Far Star”. The record was recorded at
Redbox Studios and mixed and mastered by
Jorge Lopes.
In 2023
Apotheus released their new full-lebgth, called "
Ergo Atlas" and 3 years later, in 2026, the band released
The Complex Permutation, via
Black Lion Records again.
