Crusade of Bards was formed in 2016 by Paolo Andreotti (keyboards & vocals) & Eleanor Tenebre (vocals) to create music that could mix all their favorite styles and concepts. Initially just a studio project, it soon grew into a full act when some live opportunities presented. The band started its live action in the spring of 2017 supporting Australian power metal powerhouse “Lagerstein” in Spain and France. In 2018 Crusade of Bards focused on the preparation of the first album but managed to play some shows in Spain and Switzerland. In 2019 “Tales of Bards & Beasts”, Crusade of Bards first full-length album, was released via Pride & Joy Records. The band started the European tour in support of its new release with shows in Spain and Germany, but all live action was cut short due to the pandemic of Covid-19. Crusade of Bards used the lockdown time to produce its second full-length album, Tales of the Seven Seas, that will be released in 2022 by Rockshots Records. When the pandemic started to ease up, the band managed to play some postponed festivals in Germany and is currently planning new live action for 2022.
