Grimner is a six headed viking/folk metal band from Motala, Sweden. With one EP "A Call For Battle" released, Grimner has managed to get gigs such as "Metal Bash Festival" in Germany 2010. Their songwriting is primarily influenced by the likes of Tyr, Finntroll, Thyrfing and Ensiferum. The band was founded in early 2008 and have had some changes in the line-up. Their first album is Färd (2012) and the second Blodshymner (2014).
In 2016 their third album "Frost Mot Eld" is out, via Despotz Records.
