Born in 1995 DESECRATE immediately become protagonist in the Italian underground scene. After the recording of the first promo cd, in 1998 arrives the very first discographic contract with the MEPHISTO RECORDS which will publish the first full length “MOONSHINY TALES (THE TORMENT AND THE RAPTURE”.

The record obtains excellent comparison both from public and criticism and allowes the Italian combo to exhibit in all the best clubls all over the Netional territory.
Anyway, Desecrate’s activity stops in 2001 due to several musical disagreement between tha band’s components.

In 2010 the decision to recover and two years later the publication of a new album “XIII THE DEATH” published by the Finnish INVERSE RECORDS.
DESECRATE present again themselves to the public in a new garment, even in the purposes, though remaining faithful to their sound: European matrix death metal, boun fast to the earlier 90’s aggressive and scratching sonority, shows several arrangements innovations which together with the constant use of the piano, contribute to the creation of a very personal sound.
