Adamas project starts on April 2007 from an idea of Luigi Castellani (vocals) after a meeting with his brother Eugenio Castellani (drummer). The earlier sound is raw and heavily influenced by the rising Thrash Metal scene. Early in 2008 the band writes two songs: “Revenge best served cold” and “Baghdad, singin’ in the raid”. These tracks will form the debut EP “Exarco”. The band starts to play live at parties (with their friends Firbholg, Steel Crow and Honos) and at metal fests like Metallattivo (CZ - Italy) with Uranium 235 and Dishuman.

Late in 2008 Adamas decided to collaborate with Nomadism Records in order to release the "The Dark Tower" box set with all Exarco songs and "Baghdad singin' in the raid" videoclip. The songs were broadcasted on December 5th 2008 during the show "Italian Invasion Asylum" conducted by DJ Sicko on Wild Life Radio (Florida - USA). In the same year 2 of the band’s songs (Baghdad singin' in the raid and Revenge best served cold) were chosen as the entrance music for the wrestlers www.pro-wrestling-thefighters.de (Germany). In 2009 Adamas records at BPA Studios 7 new tracks in order to release the first full length album “Evil All Its” (mixed and mastered by Andy LaRouque - Death, King Diamond), released in 2010. Adamas promoted “Evil All Its” with a tour in Ireland and UK with Cancerous Womb (2011) and in Greece (2012).
In 2011 four members left the band leaving only Luigi and Eugenio. The members were replaced by Federico Fondacci (guitar) and Alessando Manini (bass).
In 2013 Adamas and SG Records sign a first deal to release digitally “Evil All Its”, in anticipation of releasing a new full length in 2015.

The band starts to write the new album in late 2013. During 2014 the writing of the album continues and the band signs some important endorsement deals with Gold Music (B.C Rich, Hughes & Kettner, Rotosound), Artbeat, Drum Sticks and YourCable. In summer 2014 Adamas start recording the album, mixed at DPF Studio of Mauro "Ulag" Mancinelli. In September starts the shooting of the first single video, directed by Lorenz Cuno Klopfenstein.

New album "Heavy Thoughts" comes out March 13th for SG RECORDS. The first single "Heavy Thoughts" features the incredible voice of Mr. Blaze Bayley
