Hapoor was a gigantic elephant who lived in Africa, relentlessly pursued by men interested in its ivory. Injured by a wound to an ear, Hapoor went crazy, throwing its murderous rampage in villages all around, until it was finally torn down. Hapoor rebelled, and it did it with the only way left: insanity. Its fury and power lead him to suicide, where destruction seemed the only way to regain dignity towards a world of blind men. The band, born in 2009, moves between stoner, sludge, blues, metal, jazz, prog metal sounds. After several line-up changes, in 2013, Shadows In Heaven recorded their second EP: “HAPOOR”. The band's purpose is to play live, where they express their full potential.
