Sublime Eyes from the rainy shores of Stavanger, Norway is an established name in the metal scene. With
their epic and melodic death/thrash metal, they have conquered both domestic and international festivals
such as Bloodstock Open Air, Norway Rock Festival, Blastfest, and Karmøygeddon, and have supported
bands like The Haunted, Entombed, Blood Red Throne, In Vain, and In Mourning.
It all started in 2007 when guitarist Tom Arild Dalaker and former drummer Remy Dale decided to create music inspired by bands like early In Flames, At the Gates, and Dimension Zero. Shortly after, guitarist Jan T. Vinningland and vocalist Arvid Tjelta joined the band, and Sublime Eyes was ready to conquer Metal-Norway. In 2010, the band released their debut album "Dawn of the Defiant", which they had produced themselves.
Three years later, they booked Frog Leap Studios, run by Leo Moracchioli, and followed up with the EP "Reign of the Sun"(2013).
Here, Sublime Eyes dared to experiment, and with the new bassist Jørn Helseth, they created a harder, more direct sound that culminated in the release of "Sermons & Blindfolds" (2015), which was released via the Italian label Wormholedeath Records. In 2019, the album "Corrocean" was released through the Tromsø record label Rob Mules Records. This album shows a more developed Sublime Eyes with stronger songs and more epic elements in the music. Afterthe COVID 19 pandemic subsided, Sublime Eyes released their EP "From Light Unto Darkness" in 2023, where the music is darker, heavier, and more melodic than ever before.
In 2025 they released their most majestic album yet, "IV: The Serpent`s Coil" via WormHoleDeath.
