Katavasia is a Greek black metal band formed in the year 2014 by veterans of the Greek metal scene from well known bands such as Varathron, Kawir, Agnes Vein, Hail Spirit Noir.
The band's vocalist is Stefan Necroabyssious, best known for being the vocalist of band Varathron. He has also been vocalist of Kawir between 1993-1994. Guitarists Astrous and Achilleas C are members of band Aenaon, keyboardist Haris also plays in Hail Spirit Noir and Transcending Bizarre? and drummer Foivos, in the band Agnes Vein.
