Talv started in early 2012 (previously as Trees In The Fog). A project of A., the only member of this one man band. The purpose is to put on raw, discordant and melancholic black metal with a touch of ambient. In January 2012, four songs are ready to be mixed for an upcoming demo of droning, fuzzy and melancholic atmospheric black. In january 2014, Talv published the first official demo "My Soul Is a Velvet Glove". In february 2014, Talv began working on new material for a forthcoming split with depressive black metal band Schizocaria. In june, after about two years of work, the first official full length, "Melancholic Wanderings" is ready, and now available at Depressive Illusions Records.
In 2017 the band released the third album "Entering a Timeless Winter".
