The concept of Fornhem was first thought of by Vavtrudner and Solbane in the Summer of 2013. A mutual craving to express certain mental states, conjured up by the mysteries of nature, history, old Norse mythology and poetry made this project come to be.
The inspiration of Fornhem lies within nature, Norse mythology, history and Swedish poetry and the music itself is a meditative form of melodic black metal with some influences of folk music.
