Hacktivist are a British rap metal band from Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England, formed in 2011 by guitarist/vocalist/producer Timfy James and rapper J Hurley after Timfy's departure from his previous band Heart of a Coward. They have released a self-titled EP in 2012 and their debut studio album Outside the Box is due for release in March 2016.
