Born in January 2011, Caronte offer an acid ethereal doom. Their lyrics are focused on esoterism and occultism, and profoundly inspired by the works of Aleister Crowley.
The band has released "Ghost Owl" (Ep) in March 2011, "Ascension" (first full-length) in October 2012 and a Split with Doomraiser in May 2013.
In these years Caronte has shared the stage with bands like Electric Wizard, Blood Farmers, Cough, Forgotten Tomb, The Devil’s Blood, In Solitude, Pagan Altar, Doomraiser, Jarboe, OM, Angel Witch, Grand Magus, Orange Goblin, The Secret and Abysmal Grief.
In the 2019 they come back with the new Opus "Wolves Of Thelema"
