Founded by brothers Mark and Dean, and close friend Luke, Damnations Day have been playing music together since 2005. After the completion of “Invisible, the Dead”, recorded and produced by Dean Wells 2011/2012, Jon was welcomed into the DDAY family as their permanent lead guitarist. With incredible chops and tasteful feel he adds an even stronger element to an already promising line up. Partnerships with Intromental management and Nightmare records were then formed.

Off the recording and release of "Invisible, the Dead" 2013, Damnations Day have been working hard, supporting such bands as NIGHTWISH, SYBREED, PSYCROPTIC, BLACK MAJESTY, WIDOW, PEGAZUS, VANISHING POINT, KING PARROT, LORD and SOILWORK as well as headlining shows and appearing in Australian Metal festivals such as Steel Assassins NSW and Stormrider Festival WA.

Although showing versatility over many styles, they remain determined to bring an energetic and powerful atmosphere to their live performance. Damnations Day has begun its writing and preproduction process for their second studio album.
