"The Provenance + Desire date annullate!

L'agenzia belga ci scrive e noi divulghiamo.Stiamo cercando di rimpiazzare le due serate italiane del 24 aprile al Brunch live di porto D'ascoli e alla Sfinge di Brescia con una eventuale altra band.

Ecco il comunicato dell'agenzia belga Hardebaran:

Dear friends / partners,

RNO from HARDEBARAN here.

I have very bad news for you today: the tour with DESIRE and THE PROVENANCE has been cancelled !!!

Here's a brief explanation, not only for you to understand that we're not responsible for this cancellation but also for your personal info, which we think you totally deserve since you're all true Metal supporters and we really don't want to mess up our relationship with you for future collaborations...

Here we go: one month before the first dates of the tour, THE PROVENANCE cancelled half of the tour for yet obscure reasons. "Financial" they said, but I still don't understand why a band says "we're 100% available" when they're actually not... whatever... let's say this can happen to everyone... This change created major problems in the schedule, with and for other involved organisers, which implied a couple of obligatory cancellations of other dates, even during the remaining "available" period. We tried to solve the problem asap but... Eventually the entire situation turned out to be of a purely financial nature and both bands finally declared not to have the financial means to have the tour done (each for their own reasons), despite the fact that the expected fees we had negociated would more or less have covered the expenses in gas, food and lodging.

So here we are. A lot of passionate work down the drain. And we're all victims of this...

I really hope this won't cause any major problems to you / your venue or partners...

In any case, please note that in the future, Hardebaran will never have to face such problems again (and our organizing partners with us) because we will exlusively book after crystal clear agreements with our bands, making sure that a "yes" remains a "yes".

Another result is that we will severely restrict the booking department of our agency to "low-risk" endeavours/bands only - for our sake and the sake of our organizing partners.

Once again, we wish to thank you all for your efforts and we ask you - please - not to judge anyone... These are things that just happen in showbusiness... One day it goes wrong, and the next there's satisfaction... We sincerely hope that we will all be able to enjoy such satisfaction together in the near future!
