AAA cercasi disperatamente i Dark Angel

Gli organizzatori del Wacken Open Air hanno dovuto cancellare la presenza dei Dark Angel e dei The Almighty Punchdrunk (nei quali milita Gene Hoglan). Lo staff del W:O:A 2003 ha fatto sapere, dalle pagine del sito ufficiale, di non essere più stato contattato nè da Gene Hoglan, nè dal management delle due bands, e di aver così dovuto cancellare entrambi i gruppi dalla billing dell'edizione 2003.

"Ora la billing è chiusa", continua il comunicato, "ma diamo la possibilità ai Dark Angel, ma non ai The Almighty Punchdrunk, di suonare se ci telefonano nei prossimi giorni.

Ecco il comunicato ufficiale apparso su www.wacken.com:

"About DA + TAP: We don´t know what´s going wrong. The Punchdrunks should have come with the Dark Angels (see Gene Hoglan) but we haven´t heared something for weeks. Gene hasn´t phoned us and on their homepage you can read that the singer was hurt really bad. But we have no statement from the band and from TAP. So we have deleted them from the billing! Also the management did not get him on the phone. Now the billing is finish but we will give DA – not TAP - the chance to play if they phone us. We ask for understanding.
We can´t understand the behaviour of Gene. The fans were happy to see DA.
