EDAIN is n avantgarde progressive metal band from Brno, Moravia.
The beginnings of EDAIN can be traced back to the line-up of famous ABSURD CONFLICT from 2003-2007, in which three of the current EDAIN members were active.
Besides playing guitar in ABSURD CONFLICT, Martin composes his own material making use of more progressive and heavier elements. Upon singer Martin leaving the band (meanwhile in CARBON DIOXIDE), both consider starting a regular band, and when the stagnating ABSURD CONFLICT give enough freedom to drummer Jiří to join (as well as to rejoin his other ex-ABSURD CONFLICT pal František in MANDORIA), the band starts rehearsing the material. From CARBON DIOXIDE, who quickly split-up, singer Martin brings Pavel on lead guitar, and eventually, a suitable full-time bass player is found in Zdeněk, else a member of NWOBHM-clones SPITFIRE.
