Catania (Italy). After a long experience with the White Shadows, in 2007, Giuseppe Clay Mignemi decided to form a new band. He will find the other two members of the group only in 2010, the Hellettrik's official birth. Clay, Dario Pierini (drums) and Fabrizio Galletta (bass) played for the first time togheter, in the Walking Oaks's party-jam, in Catania (actually Pierini and Galletta had already collaborated togheter at old bands, years before). However Hellettrik will born just few months later.
At the beginning the members of the band are involved in long jam session, with themes from Bowie, Zeppelin to The Raconteurs. Since the first rehearsals, the main riffs of the future songs, come out. Between 2010 and 2011 Hellettrik composed a lot of songs to destinate at the first album.
But from 2011 to 2012, some accidents occured to Clay and Pierini, caused a stop of the rehearsal of few months.
In 2012 Hellettrik recorded the first album from the Zen Arcade recording studio in Catania.
