ICETHRONE formed in 2009, after the split-up of another band. Former members were Algiz (vocalist) and Iskandar (drummer).
After various line-up changes, ICETHRONE released at the end of 2010 debut album “Beggar's Song”, featuring nine tracks of viking death metal influcenced by bands such as Amon Amarth, Dismember, Hypocrisy, and folk, pagan metal bands.
In 2008 vocalist Algiz took part in Folkheart “Rulers of the sea” album. ICETHRONE embrace themes such as pagan, naturalistic stories, with personal feeling.
Now in 2012, ICETHRONE have released second album called «See you in Valhall». Recorded at Nadir Studios of Tommy Talamanca (Sadist) «See you in Valhall» includes eleven tracks more mature, with more feelings, due to a new line-up, but with the same ICETHRONE’s approach. New album «See you in Valhall» reflects exactly what is now the meaning of ICETHRONE. So enjoy this new album, and simply see you in Valhall!
ICETHRONE are: Algiz (vocals), Munin (bass), Herian (drums), Vlaad (keyboards) and Metheus (guitars, clean vocals).
