Desert Sin was formed in 2000 (under the original name SICK-U-R). It took almost a year until the first stabile lineup was established: Sandro (lead vocals, guitars), Rainer (bass, backing vocals), Roman ( keyboards, backing vocals, programming) Harry (drums). After several experiments Desert Sin found the musical base with the recording of the first studio CD entitled „MMIV": Melodic Metal. While recording the second CD „Zero Hour" the need for an additional guitar grew severe. Stefan joined Desert Sin in 2005 on lead guitars. „Zero Hour" was approved by critics and fans as well. For instance: The German Heavy Metal Magazine „Heavy" printed an interview in their 05/2007 edition of the magazine. „My Empire" was the opening track of the „Metal Crusade XIV" Sampler. Exclusively for the "Keep it True X" festival in 2008 Desert Sin produced the Promotion CD "All in One". Everyone in attendance received a copy for free. Desert Sin has finished recording their first studio CD entitled Edge of Horizon . The CD will be released via Pure Steel Records at the 6th march 2009.
