Journey's 1981 single 'Don't Stop Believing' sensationally climbed back to the top ten of the British single charts last year, while bands like Foreigner and Boston continue to show up on movie soundtrack albums - and Bon Jovi's concert tours breaks new records in the US and elsewhere. AOR strikes back, bigtime. And Houston is here for the take-off.
Houston's debut album mixes classical song writing and musicianship, with new talent and an urge to create the best rock music imaginable. Focusing on strong choruses, high-pitched but still smooth vocals, sweet and dreamy keyboards and of course guitar solos to end all guitar solos - this is a must for every respectable rock connoisseur. Tommy Denander, Tomas Vikström, Mats Olausson - these are only a few of the rock legends appearing on the album. Master producer Ricky B. Delin has lined up an amazing crew working to create the best of both these worlds, the classical and the up-and-coming.
The first single 'Hold On' has gotten a lot of attention and air time in Sweden and Finland. The selftitled debut album has sold thousands of copies in Sweden and surrounding territories. It has recently been picked up by Universal/Spinefarm in the U.K. and Ireland, where it will be released with two bonus tracks shortly.
Houston "II" is the follow-up to the highly acclaimed 2010 debut. The swedish AOR outfit has been working on the new songs since the last tour of the UK in 2011, and the result shows that it was not chance that got their first album to 1st place of Classic Rock Magazine's top AOR albums of 2010.
Producer/keyboard player Ricky Delin has for this album become a full member of the band, together with Hank Erix (vocals) and Freddie Allen (drums). The trio has once again used Sweden's finest melodic rock musicians, such as the great Tommy Denander for most guitar parts and long-time band associate Soufian Ma'Aoui for the bass parts.
Together with renowned producer and ex MTV rocker Martin Karlegård (Reptile Smile) the band created ‘III’. Martin Karlegård has worked with French Idol singer Jenifer, Swedish pop star Brolle Jr and world famous Swedish band ‘The Sounds’ and has helped the band to add a mature and organic sound to their brand of classy and classic Melodic Rock.

After the signing with Frontiers Music Srl for a multi-album deal, Houston issued in 2021 the new studio album, titled "Houston IV" and produced under the direction of former member and AOR guru Ricky Delin, who also co-wrote with the band.
