Line up

  • Corinna Becker: vocals
  • Markus Wichmann: guitars
  • Martin Bastian: bass
  • Jan Luchtenberg: drums
The band was started in October 2008 to record the few songs they had already written when Corinna and Markus left their fromer band. Soon after that Tormentor offered his services to play the drums on those recordings, and finally Martin – who plays with Tormentor in the european line-up of Metalucifer - joined Deathfist shortly before the recording sessions of the EP in March 2009.
The „Demons EP“ featured 4 songs and was released via High-Roller Records on 7“ vinyl in June 2009, and in July the band hit the stage for the first time. New songs have been written but late summer Tormentor unforunately left the band due to personal reasons, and Jan helped out on drums at the bands last scheduled gig in October 2009.
In December/January more songs have been written with Jan still on drums, and the decision was made to record a full leghth album in this line-up, even though Jan is not a full-patch member due to time constraints.
The album is called „Too hot to Burn“, features 12 songs and is released via Pure Steel Records on CD, and High Roller Records on vinyl on October 29th...exactly 2 years and 1 day after Deathfist was „born“.
