DARKOGRAPHY IN REVERSE:
March 2012: “Grand Guignol - Book I” is issued in a first limited edition with the blessing of the Arcane Witchcraft Coven;
October 2011: Nothingness becomes the new official guitarist, replacing Imajes;
September 2011: Dark End took part in the “Lux Mundi World Tour” as official supporters of Samael, Melechesh and Keep Of Kalessin;
May 2011: Dark End took their first European tour supporting Rotting Christ;
March 2010: “Assassine” is issued by Crash & Burn Records, receiving incredible responses all across Europe;
April 2009: The band enters the studios to record the second album: “Assassine”. Again, the line-up changes, assuming a definitive form with the entering of Specter (bass) & Ashes (guitars);
2008: The debut album is duly supported by several live shows in north and middle Italy. Among others, the band plays with acts like Marduk, Vader, Impaled Nazarene & Stormlord, co-headlining the last Metal Circus edition with Handful Of Hate;
July 2007: “Damned Woman And A Carcass” is first issued by Necromantik Records and immediately collects superb reviews everywhere. After some months the French label Dead Sun Records decide to remaster the CD (with a new and expanded artwork) and to distribute it all across Europe and in North America;
April 2007: Animæ joins the band as lead singer;
February 2007: The first full-length “Damned Woman And A Carcass”, inspired by Charles Baudelaire’s “Le Fleurs De Mal” & “Spleen”, was recorded. The temporary absence of a lead singer was filled by Valentz himself;
2006: Dark End was born, in its primordial form, from an idea of Imajes (lead guitar) & Valentz (drums). During the same year the line-up changes several times and adjusts itself with the entrance of Antarktica (keyboards). The band takes their first live shows.
