YOUR ANGUISH was born in July 2003 from the grey mist of Turin, a dark city situated in northern Italy, the first imprint was a fast thrash-metal-core, simple but aggressive and brutal… with a light melodic contamination.

In 2005 the band recorded his first self-titled album, rough, catchy and aggressive. Early main influences were old school thrash metal and the first wave of metalcore. Afterwards, the band focused on live activity and released in 2009 an EP called “Desertified”.

Desertified was a real “milestone”, that album signified a radical shift for the band introducing new sounds and compositive elements thanks to the heterogeneous musical interests of the members. After that radical change the band fell in a long period of oblivion, guitarist and drummer decided to call it quit. This event made them feel really “crucified” and stops them for about 1 year. However this didn’t stop the musical impulse of Your Anguish who continued to grow up and to write new songs.

In 2010, the band regenerated his energy through a new drummer and guitarist and completed some songs written during the long lethargic months. Thank’s to the DIY spirit of all the band members Your Anguish starts now the more active gig phase of his life, in the meanwhile two new songs were written to complete the tracklist of the new work “Heroes & Zeroes”: a “Concept EP” focused on the contraposition of the heroes or those who we consider such (Positive Characters) and zeroes or persons who deserve only our contempt.
In this phase, the band is aiming to sound cleanliness and the introduction of new sonorities beside a progressive musical experimentation mixed to the nowadays tendencies driven by modern metalcore masters.

Heroes & Zeroes is fully recorded and mastered at “Fusix Studio” and it was released in March 2013 through the major digital download platforms and phisical CD. Your Anguish can’t wait to appreciate the public criticism on their new work and play live to spread its sound worldwide.
