In March 2007 Asphagor has been founded by forming members Axis, Atlas, Sargoth, Aeshma and Das Nichts.
After a complete year’s composing work the demo “Tyrolean Hell” was released and in 2008.
Following up a considerable amount of shows, Asphagor recorded its debut album “Havoc” in 2010 and released it the very same year by themselves.
In August 2012 the album "Anti" was recorded within 5 days and completely finished two weeks later.
The critically acclaimed "Anti" needed a strong successor, thus Asphagor incinerated their flame of ambition of creating a unique and logic evolution of the band. Once the compository process was completed in 2016, the band again teamed up with Patrick W. Engel to realize their clear vision of what’s to become the next milestone in the band’s history. Incited with anticipation, Asphagor waits solemnly to release "The Cleansing" onto the world very soon.
