AOR songstress Aina Olsen released her international debut solo album, 'Target Practice, through Mercury in 1985. Surprizingly AINA recorded this Jeff Vernon produced outing in Oxfordshire with STATUS QUO drummer Jeff Rich and LEVEL 42 bassist Mark King contribute. An album, 'In Ten Pieces' produced by Phil Barret and John Puk Quist and seeing the aforementiond Barret on guitar, Claus Reher Langberg on bass and drummer Petter Bo Mikkelsen, had surfaced a year previous but had made little impression.

The third album 'Living In A Boy's World' was produced by guitarist Rolf Graf, who played a major hand in the arrangement of the material. The album includes performances of the Paul Janz written 'Believe In Me', the Torsten Flakne (STAGE DOLLS) penned 'You Babe You' and the Robin & Judith Randall / James Christian co-written 'A Love Forever Story'. Studio musicians comprised the LAVA team of guitarists Rolf Graf and Marius Müller, keyboard player Lasse Hafreager and drummer Per Hillestad. The title track would be notably re-worked by US songstress FIONA for her 1986 album 'Beyond The Pale'.

Aina became HOUSE OF LORDS vocalist JAMES CHRISTIAN's girlfriend and has since turned up on his solo album and other American AOR projects featuring his involvement. Living in Los Angeles, she also carved out a second career as a professional photographer. In September 2005 the MTM Classix label re-issued the album 'Living In A Boy's World', adding five bonus tracks.
