Miasmic Theory was born in Gothenburg 2008. Yet the line up was'nt complete until the beginning of 2010. In the middle of 2011 Miasmic Theory entered the studio for recordings for their debutalbum and they also signed a deal with record label RAMBO MUSIC for distrubutions for the album. In 2012 Miasmic Theory opened the Metalfestival House of Metal with bands like ENTOMBED and
IMMORTAL and made a great succes!

In 2012 Miasmic Theory released their debutalbum Sound of Desperation and got great reviews from the biggest metalpapers in Sweden and also entered the Swedish Metalcharts at place 15 before bands like In Flames. Miasmic Theory are now writting songs for their second album and are ready to play live in a town near you!
